About RMD Engineering College, Thiruvallur

RMD Engineering College (RMDEC) is an autonomous college was established in 2001. affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by AICTE, New Delhi. The college is accredited by NAAC with ‘A’ grade and NBA for four RMDEC UG programmes. The college offers B.E / B.Tech, M.E and Ph.D programmes in various engineering disciplines. The RMD Engineering College admission is based on the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling conducted by Anna University, Chennai. This scholarship is for differently-abled students who have a disability of not less than 40%. Candidates must be admitted to diploma/degree courses at an AICTE recognised institution. The annual income of the family should be less than Rs.8 Lakhs per annum.
AICTE Pragati Scholarship for Girls	Amount of scholarship that is a tuition fee of Rs. 30,000 or at actual, whichever is less and Rs. 2,000 per month for 10 months as incidentals each year.	This scholarship is for girl candidates who have taken admission to the diploma/degree course at AICTE approved institution/college. The annual income of the family should not be more than Rs.8 Lakhs. Up to two girls per family can apply for the scholarship.
AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme (Technical Degree)	Rs. 50,000 per annum	Candidates should be pursuing a full-time degree-level course Annual family income should not be more than Rs. 8 lakhs Should belong to one of the following categories: Orphan/either or both parents died due to Covid-19/wards of armed forces and central paramilitary forces
AICTE PG (GATE/GPAT) Scholarship	Rs. 12,400 per month	Candidates who must have a valid mark in GATE/GPAT can apply. Candidates must have taken admission in the first year of M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Pharma./ M.Arch courses at an AICTE recognised institution/college.
