Established in 2008, Rishi Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh is a college affiliated to university. The Institute offers a wide array of 10 different courses that range from full-time B.Tech, Diploma to MBA. Those who wish to pursue diploma courses may do so in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. For the aspiring management professional, there is the MBA program. The approved intake for the courses put together is 450 students.

The RIET admission process is extensive and merit-based. The Institute accepts the JEE Main in all its B.Tech programs because this is nationally acclaimed entrance to admission to undergraduate engineering programs in India. For the different diploma courses, the institution accepts Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination, also called JEECUP.
