RMES's College of Pharmacy, Gulbarga, established in the year 1991, is one of the well-known institutions having pharmacy courses. This affiliated college is situated in Balaji Nagar, Old Jewargi Road, Gulbarga, Karnataka, and is now serving the cause of pharmacy for more than three decades. Affiliated with the RGUHS, the institute offers various courses in pharmaceutical sciences. Located in a 2-acre campus, RMES’s College of Pharmacy has a total number of intakes with 311 students and 35 faculty members so that the student-facilitator ratio is good to provide a special focus on the students as well as education quality.
RMES’s College of Pharmacy boasts facilities that provide for the unique needs of all students. The library that is regarded as the storehouse of knowledge stocks over 5000 books these include the American and British Pharmacopoeia and the six volumes of Medicinal Chemistry by Burger. Students are, however, privileged to use national and international journals and have a digital library with an internet connection at night. RMES’s College of Pharmacy has established the complete package for training pharmacy education to different levels. Offering five courses, the institute offers D.Pharma, B.Pharma, Pharma.D and M.Pharma in two specialisations. Due to the total student intake policy of 311 spread across all courses, the college offers students an unparalleled learning experience. Our flagship course, the B.Pharma programme has an intake of 60 students for the programme as does the D.Pharma programme of the institute. The college has two M.Pharma programmes in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry and also the Pharm.D programme for students, though passing intake for all these courses is unclear.

The course B.Pharma at RMES's College of Pharmacy is an approved four-year undergraduate course with a sanctioned intake capacity of 60 students. Entry to this programme is probably conducted on the merit of the applicants based on marks secured in their 10+2 examination as well as through relevant entrance examinations.
The college offers two specialisations for M.Pharma, which are Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. These courses are postgraduates that normally take two years to complete.
