About RMK College of Engineering and Technology

RMK College of Engineering and Technology (RMKCET) Thiruvallur was established in the year 2008. RMKCET Thiruvallur is a private institute accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ Grade and NBA. The institute is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. RMKCET Thiruvallur offers undergraduate courses in engineering, computer application and sciences streams. The RMKCET B.Tech admission is based on the marks obtained in class 12 or equivalent examinations and the performance in the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling conducted by Anna University. For lateral entry, the admission is based on the marks obtained in the Diploma examination in Engineering / Technology.

The RMKCET placement cell provides training and guidance to the students for their career development. The college has a record of placing more than 85% of its students in reputed companies such as TCS, Infosys, BOSCH, Deloitte, EY and many more. The college also conducts various workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and industrial visits to enhance the skills and knowledge of the students.
