Royal College of Education and Research for Women, Thane Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

Seeking inspiration from the above lines, the Royal College of Education and Research for Women, organized its sports day on the 17th of Jan 2018 at the Royal College Ground with great zest and enthusiasm. The program commenced with the oath. This was followed by various events. All the students participated with true sportsmanship and made the session a lively event. It was a packed event right from the start until the event concluded.

Audiovisual room and auditorium with LCD, a podium with a built-in computer, and a hi-tech sound system where apart from regular course lectures, seminars, workshops, and several other programs are also regularly conducted.

Spacious Library cum Reading Room– With more than 5000 Reference books, encyclopedias, Dictionaries, Textbooks, Course Books, Method Books, Periodicals, Journals, Magazines, daily newspapers, etc., and a spacious airy reading hall with a comfortable seating arrangement.

Study material, apparatus, chemicals, charts, models, maps, mathematical instruments, and several creative teaching aids are required for the study of Teacher Trainees as well as for their practice teaching lessons.

Health and Physical Centre has the facility for playing indoor games like carom, table tennis, chess, etc. Badminton and basketball facilities are also available to students on campus.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

Every computer installed with the latest system software and Free internet facility for unlimited time is provided to all Teacher Trainees where they can surf the net, and create their projects.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The canteen facility is extended to our B.Ed. Teacher Trainees also. We have a bookstore as well as a Xerox center on the premises.

The college has Motive of the placement cell is to act as a facilitator to arrange campus visits and coordinate the recruitment process of the prospective employers of graduating students of the college.
