The Royal College of Pharmacy, Raipur has grown as one of the most sought after pharmaceutical getting institutes in Chhattisgarh. This co-educational college was established in the year 2004 and is situated behind Pt. R.S. University Campus, Dumar Talab. A host of degree courses are offered to the aspiring pharmacists. The courses follow the norms set up by the Pharmacy Council of India. The Royal College of Pharmacy has 359 students in total, with a faculty strength of 27; it is set over a 5-acre campus, which is very conducive for pharmaceutical studies. As far as offering world-class facilities to students for their studies is concerned, the commitment in the college is great.
Royal College of Pharmacy consists of a well-maintained good library, furniture with a good stock of textbooks, reference books, and journals of repute. It contains excellent playing fields for sports and physically oriented students, enabling them to play all types of games, including cricket, volleyball, and badminton. Besides that, there is also a facility for indoor games such as chess and carrom. The IT infrastructure is equally impressive, helping to update the students with all developments in the field. The cafeteria provides for the daily needs of both the staff and students, and an auditorium regularly hosts events and seminars. More importantly, it boasts well-equipped laboratories with analytical instruments such as the HPLC binary system, UV-VIS Spectrophotometer among others important in pharmaceutical research and practice. Royal College of Pharmacy under its umbrella offers courses ranging from all possible levels of pharmaceutical education. The Institute runs a total of five full-time courses at three levels - Diploma, Bachelor's and Master's in Pharmacy. All the courses have an intake capacity of 159 approved seats in total.
The D.Pharma and B.Pharma programs are provided with 60 seats each, while at post-graduation, the college offers M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutics with 15 and 12 seats, respectively. B.Pharma Lateral Entry course is also offered for which 12 seats are available to help the diploma holders to continue their studies in the bachelor course. The admission procedure is designed in such a way that only meritorious students get admitted to Royal College of Pharmacy so as to pursue their pharmaceutical dreams. Candidates shall have to appear for and qualify in the Entrance Examination of Chhattisgarh State Pre-Pharmacy Entrance Test, PPHT, for admission into B.Pharma and D.Pharma

Admission is done through counseling by the DTE, Government of Chhattisgarh, Raipur. This is a centralized process designed to make the admission procedure more transparent and fair. The admission to the first year of M. Pharma program shall be done on the basis of valid GPAT score. The Institution offers B. Pharma. Lateral Entry course, which helps the diploma holders join the course directly in the second year of the B. Pharma course. The college has a separate cell, the Training and Placement Cell, for helping students avail job opportunities. It acts as a facilitator with campus visits and recruitment processes with reputed national and international companies. Besides these, Industry Interaction Programs and Guest Lectures are organised to invite experts to share valuable information related to the pharmaceutical field among the students.

Royal College of Pharmacy, Raipur offers 60 seats in B.Pharma. Admission is made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the Chhattisgarh State Pre-Pharmacy Entrance Test (PPHT). Eligible candidates should pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. Counselling is done by the DTE, Chhattisgarh, for admission.
D.Pharma: Like B.Pharma, D.Pharma also has an intake capacity of 60 seats. Admission is through PPHT, and then counselling. Eligibility and admission procedure are identical to B.Pharma.
B.Pharma Lateral Entry: It is an entry scheme for diploma holders to join directly in the second year of B.Pharma. It has 12 seats. The candidates must clear the PPHT and undergo counselling by DTE, Chhattisgarh.
M.Pharma (Pharmaceutical Chemistry): This post-graduate programme has 15 seats. Admission is on the basis of valid GPAT marks. A B.Pharma degree from a recognised university is required to apply.
M.Pharma (Pharmaceutics): This M.Pharma specialisation has 12 seats. Royal College of Pharmacy admission is the same as in M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry with a valid GPAT mark and a B.Pharma degree.
