About SH College
Sacred Heart College (SH College), Kochi was established by the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) in the year 1944. In 2014, SH College gained an autonomous status by the Government of Kerala. The College offers undergraduate (BA/B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA/BCA), postgraduate (MA/MCJ/M.Sc/M.Com), M.Phil and Ph.D courses. Sacred Heart College is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University.

For Undergraduate Courses (BA/B.Sc/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA/BCA):
- Candidates should qualify 10+2 examination or equivalent examination with the relevant subjects recognised by MG University.
- Eligible candidates should register online on the college website for admission to the College.
- For BA Animation and Graphic Design, candidates have to appear for an Aptitude Test followed by an Interview.
- Final selection will be done after document verification, seat allotment and fee payment.
For Postgraduate Courses (MA/MCJ/M.Sc/M.Com):
- For MA Digital Animation/Graphic Design/Cinema & Television/MCJ, candidates should qualify bachelor's examination or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks.
- Eligible candidates should register online on the college website for admission to the College.
- Further, candidates have to appear for an Aptitude Test followed by an Interview.
- For MA Sociology, candidates should qualify for a bachelor's examination or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks.
- Candidates who have studied sociology as optional subject will be provided with a weightage of 10 marks.
- For M.Sc, candidates should qualify bachelor's (B.Sc) examination or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks in the relevant subjects.
- For M.Com, candidates should qualify for a bachelor's (B.Com/BBA/BBM) examination or equivalent examination under core group with at least 45% marks.

SH College Facilities
Sacred Heart College provides various amenities and infrastructure for the students and the faculty such as hostel, library, IT centre, canteen, transport, labs, fitness centre, sports, auditorium, reprographic centre, etc. Other facilities like post office, stationery shop, ATM, smart classrooms, etc.
- Hostel: The Institute has separate hostels for both boys and girls. Wi-Fi and LAN facilities are also provided to the hostel students.
