Sainik Institute of Management and Information Technology, Amritsar, which came into existence in 2015, is a co-educational affiliated college situated at the Amritsar city of Punjab. Located on Court Road close to Rialto Theatre, this institute offers only Computer science programmes as full courses with three different levels. SIMIT has a total enrolment of 36 students and strength of faculties to teach only 5 so it can afford to give focused attention. In the same regard, SIMIT offers a one-year Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science which to students who wish to acquire intensive training in the specific area of Computer Science.
