Samanta Chandra Sekhar Institute of Technology Management, Semiliguda (SCITM) is one of the leading establishments which was set up in the year of 2001. This affiliated college is situated in Koraput, Odisha and occupies as vast area as 26 acres. SCITM is recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), therefore covers the points and provides qualitative education in the sphere of engineering and technology. The institute provides 11 courses of study, in total admitting 286 students. SCITM has 75 faculties and can therefore support an ideal student faculty ratio to ensure the best learning environment is offered to students.

SCITM provides all the engineering fields at the undergraduate and diploma level for the students. 6 B.Tech programmes, and 5 Diploma courses can be founded in the institute and all of them have full-time stream. B.Tech courses are Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. The Diploma programmes are offered in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. 

The admission process followed in SCITM is justified as credential and consistent with national and state entrance examinations. For the admissions in B.Tech programmes the institute admits the students on the basis of Joint Entrance Examination JEE Main and Odisha Joint Entrance Examination. These exams play a very important role in controlling entry of aspiring engineers into the institute.
