It's all depends on us, make it good or make it worse

Placements: Placements at our college are like not too bad nor too good. As per my knowledge, many seniors were placed in the Capgemini and TCS last year. But that was not too impressive. In our college, there are like a do or die situation. If you have good knowledge and potential you can instate a good job on your own (two years back, our one senior got placed in Adobe with an approximate 25 lakhs of the package). Otherwise, TCS like companies is always there with low packages. But our college is working hard to help students get placed in good position with a good salary at different places. There are mainly IT companies coming to our campus for the placements. If I talk about this year, our college is helping us to get internships and training in different industrial and development sectors. As there is a partnership with the Internshala, CIDC, and like companies, there are lots of training and internships opportunity for us in the coming days. Infrastructure: As we know, our college is built in 1960. So no one should expect much from our college’s infrastructure. All the buildings are very old and archaic. But, there is everything for us which we may need during our study and graduation like unlimited free high-speed Wi-Fi facility, well-equipped labs, well-maintained and full facilitated classrooms. There are lots of resources at the library and the sports ground. However, the equipment in our labs is deadly, and they need attention because they all are very old and hugger-mugger. The classrooms are also well-equipped with projector, speakers, and lights. There are about 7-8 computer labs with full access to the internet and all the necessary software and programmes installed. There are two well-furnished badminton court, one basketball court, football, and cricket ground for us with a sports coach and facilitators. There is a single canteen at our college which is not enough to fulfill our needs and demands, so we rarely visit there. As I said above, all the buildings are very old and archaic in our college, so hostel buildings are also old and need reconstruction. There are three boys hostels and two girls hostels for us with a good environment, some indoor games (like table tennis, badminton, carrom board, etc.) are also available in the hostel with a good security. However, the food quality is not so good here. Faculty: To be true, the faculty members at our college are well qualified and very knowledgeable, but only a few of them are enthusiastic to teach us interestingly. Few faculty members in my branch are very helpful and experienced and I feel a different bonding with them. There’s teaching methodology of few faculty members are incredible. The student-faculty ratio is approximately 60:1. Our HOD plays an important role in helping us to get better exposure to the industrial and production sectors. They organize many seminars and training programmes with the help of the local and national training institutions. The courses are also well-balanced with the lab work and the theory work. Other: I found too many talented seniors and batchmates in my college. The only thing they need is just better exposure and better direction. The different clubs (technical, non-technical and more) and annual festivals (Samrat Utsav, Satyarth-i) in our college are also making a great impact on the overall development of our college and students. Our seniors are very helpful here for which I am very thankful to them.

The infrastructure is not so good. Labs are well developed and in working condition. Placement cell is not so well and the only big company which recruits from this institute is TCS. College also has NCC and NSS branches. It has basketball court, cricket and football ground, badminton court, canteen ,gym ,post office ,bank in the campus itself. Canteen of the college is average and quality is not so good

I would like to go through the detailed review: Infrastructure: It is a 1960's college and the infrastructure standards are of the same level. Classrooms are equipped with Projectors but have no proper amenities. Sports Ground and facilities are okay, with no resources available in general. Faculties are good but their count is less, No environment for entrepreneurship or personality development

College life is good, especially the hostel life is awesome. The infrastructure is not very good but the atmosphere is very positive. Faculties are very supportive. Along with studies college also promotes extracurricular activities. Overall college is very good.

can i transfer my college sati vidisha to manit bhopal

Kambampati Rohith Student Expert 25th Jul, 2019

Hello,
If you are asking whether you can change the college after 1 or 2 years study in one college to another, then ofcourse you can. But in your case, you are asking for a transfer to an NIT which is not likely to happen. If this is not what you asked for, then mention your question in detail, to get a detailed answer.
Good Luck!

Sati vidisha is good for eee or not

Ram Student Expert 15th Jul, 2019

No core companies visit this campus. If you have taken suggestions about the college from the students of earlier batches of the 90′s then they would have told you how good this place is. But now the scenario has totally changed.

-No Core companies visiting for branches of EE,EC,EI,CE,PCE.

-No exposure in a small city.

-No coachings to prepare for exams like GATE/CAT/IES.

-You can't rely on faculties for clearing competitive examinations. The faculties are good but there won't be enough classes being held.

Last year’s placement scenario: Only TCS recruited just 24 students. After that a few small companies had pool campus with negligible amount of salary. 99% of these companies were of software domain, in which no electrical student is allowed to sit.

There are some shit placement policies whuch are a reason of this downfall. One such policy is that if you are selected in one company (specially TCS), you won't be allowed to sit for other companies.

which is better option for me dy patil(private) pimpre pune ee or sati vidisha (govt) ee

Anuj Pawar Student Expert 14th Jul, 2019

Hi there

Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute Of Technology, Pimpri, Pune is a better option.

Almost 90% students who have got 60% get placed and college also provide the off-campus drive that includes no criteria companies. The average salary offered is 3 lacs per annum and the maximum is 18 lacs i.e. last year. Many MNCs visited the college for placement like Infosys, Wipro, Amazon, L&T etc.

This college has a very good infrastructure. The main building is of 8 floors and there are two other buildings which include an auditorium, the library and the admin office. There are well-maintained labs on each floor. For students, new hostels have been constructed this year.

All faculty members are very helpful and well-qualified. The student-faculty ratio is 80:1. From the second year, you will have a regular industrial visits. The teachers also believe in real-time learning and they organised many workshops and guest lectures for the students.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

How is jiwaji, rewa, barkatullah, sati vidisha in comparison to lnct in terms of placements in cse and also in area?

Naina Das 8th Jul, 2019

Hello aspirate

LNCT Bhopal has better placement for Cse than other colleges you mentioned above. As 90% of Cse students are placed every year in LNCT and this it's in Bhopal area is also good. I myself a student of sati college Vidisha of Cse and placement in this college are also good around 75% of Cse students are placed every year and the area is good as its just 10 mins from Railway Station and every required places are near also. But rewa engineering college is not up to the mark and placement are also not good there 50% of Cse students that also very difficult.

Hope it helps you
