SBBSIET a private institution of engineering which was set up in 2003 and is present in Jalandhar, Punjab. Konwliked with the I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, SBBSIET provides UG and PG courses in enggineering, architecture, management and business administration etc. The institute is a big campus has 92 teaching faculties who are committed to impart education to their students. The institute has proved its commitment towards academic delivery with its seven full time programs offered at two degree levels.

SBBSIET has well developed infrastructure keeping in mind its academic programs and overall growth of students. The campus is well endowed with modern laboratories, a standard library and modern Information technology facilities to support practice and research. Some basic facilities that students enjoy include; we provide comfortable hostels for male and female students to ensure that students live in a safe environment. But the fact that the institute has facilities in sports, gym and an auditorium for cultural and academic activities is evident of assessment of the institute to the quality of overall development. Further, it imprisons facilities like on- campus medical facilities, cafeteria and transport facilities to facilitate comfort and convenience to the students in SBBSIET.

The different types of courses being taught at SBBSIET are offered in diversified areas of learning totaling to seven courses. These are six B. Tech programs in Mechanical Engineering Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Computer Science Engineering Information Technology Electrical Engineering Civil Engineering. All these undergraduate programmes take four years to complete, and prepare the students with enough knowledge and skills in their respective fields. At the post graduate level the college offers MBA-II year/Integrated program of two years duration for those students who want to pursue higher management education. Currently, all courses at SBBSIET are offered in full time mode so as to provide quality and intensive learning to the students.
