    Sant Darbara Singh College of Education for Women Lopon the institution is one of the premier institution in the state of Punjab of India which was started in the year of 1976 fro the cause of the education of Women only. This affiliated college is in Moga district of the Indian state, Punjab; it is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Situated over an area of 7 acres, it has three main courses in education in which total number of students enrolment is 199. The faculty of the institute is ambitious with 19 members which guarantees individual care and quality output. 

    The college offers rich family of facilities for its students and calls them to develop in different directions. A well equipped library stands as a powerful knowledge resource center that provides various resource support both for research and study. The effectiveness of the learning activities also include functional, well equipped laboratories for practical learning in many fields. For physical fitness and recreation the college have gym, sports facility. Safety is valued with basic first aid being offered at the institution’s own health centre on campus. For instance, the college has an event and seminar facility in the form of an auditorium to enhance the colleges academic atmosphere. IT factors exist to ensure students get to know the latest technology in learning. Dispensing a cafeteria, students and staff’s dietary requirements are fulfilled. 

    Sant Darbara Singh College of Education for Women has three full time programmes for students and all these programmes are designed with the view to catering for the needs of prospective teachers. The center piece of the college programs is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program that has a capacity to admit 250 students. For learners who wish to proceed to postgraduate level in education they can take the Master of Education (M. Ed) which has 50 seats. The college also undertakes 50 students for Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for prospective primary teachers.
