Saraswati College of Education, Panipat was established in the year 2007 with the aim of becoming one of the pioneering colleges to shape the future of education in the country. The institute is a co-educational institute situated in Madlauda, Panipat. It has a sprawling campus that is spread over 3.14 acres of land. The affiliated college has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE, and assures its commitment to maintaining quality standards in teacher education. Currently, it has three professional courses in education with an enrollment of 337 students and is manned by a faculty strength of 29 dedicated teachers. Thus, due to its adherence to excellence, Saraswati College of Education has turned out to be the cornerstone for aspiring teachers in the region.

The Institution has a number of impressive facilities aimed at enhancing the learning experiences of students. Boys and girls hostels, on-campus, comfortable, and safe for living. All hostels are centrally air-conditioned and have all the modern facilities in the form of a common kitchenette, laundry facility, and areas for recreation. There is a well-established library that acts as a nucleus of knowledge by stocking many books and journals of various fields of studies. Practical work is also facilitated through the different well-equipped laboratories set up by the institution, for example, the C.V. Raman Science Lab, Saraswati Social Studies Lab, and the Educational Psychology Lab to name a few. Along with this, the college also has a Milkha Singh Sports Club and a well-maintained computer science laboratory. Likewise, vegetarian food items are also provided through the college canteen, which helps nourish students. The campus also has a medical facility, gymnasium, and transportation system in place for the convenience of both the students and employees of this institution.

The courses running in Saraswati College of Education are related to education only. Three full-time courses - B.Ed, M.Ed., D.Ed. The courses would be so structured that support at different levels in the teaching career for the would-be educator or a person who desires promotion with postgraduate qualifications in the same career will be provided. The total sanctioned intake of the course is 300, in which B.Ed has 200 and M.Ed and D.Ed programs have 50 each.

There are admissions strictly on merit and absolutely transparent. Admissions to all the courses, whether B.Ed/M.Ed/D.Ed, in Saraswati College of Education, are made strictly on the basis of the marks/percentages secured at the qualifying examination and/or on the entrance examination. The College shall strictly follow the policies framed by the State Government, UT administration, and the university with which it is affiliated during the process of selection.
