The college has a well-trained and experienced Chef who prepares a variety of purely vegetarian North Indian, South Indian, Continental, and Chinese cuisines to suit the tastes of all students. Management members and senior faculty of SCE to share the food of both the mess & cafeteria regularly to ensure that there is no letdown in the quality. The dining hall is spacious, neatly maintained, and can seat a large number of students. Food is prepared and served in hygienic conditions. In order to ensure that there is no let-up in the nourishment provided, a dietician guides the weekly menu, and students who need a special diet are also given advice. Day scholars and others who feel like having refreshments between classes can enjoy the snacks at the college cafeteria.

The college provides a health care facility to the students by providing First Aid and other basic facilities and when required a separate room is earmarked for the said facility. Doctors are available on call whenever the need arises.
