Sarbodaya College, Malowpathar, Jorhat Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The library is the heart of the college. It has a management committee under which every activity related to the Library is managed and carried out. It is assisted by an assistant librarian a library assistant and a library bearer. The library has more than 10,000 books, 4 periodical journals, and 4 daily newspaper subscriptions. The college library has two compartments consisting of a total floor area of 8937 square feet, out of which one is used to store books and the other has a seating capacity that can accommodate a minimum of 40 students at a time. The College Library was started along with the establishment of the college in the year 1985. It is dedicated in the name of the founder Principal Late Jibeswar Borah. The college library is working on KOHA: v.21.11.03.000 software. The data of the books are stored using this software. The working process of the Library is not yet fully automated however the process of its automation is under progress.

The institution has well-equipped laboratory facilities for the students of the Education and Geography Department along with a computer lab for all the students.

The college has a well-maintained outdoor playground in front of the college building where all cocurricular activities including the annual sports week are organized. Various outdoor games like football volleyball, cricket, javelin, shot-put, musical chair, etc. are conducted in the playground, and some indoor games like badminton, carom, chess, etc

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
