Sardar Patel Teachers Training College sikar is an affiliated college, established in 2006 located in Katrathal, Sikar district of Rajasthan. It is a Recognised Institute for Teacher Education under section 2(f) & 12(B) of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and wants to create professionally competent and capable trained human resources in the field of teaching. The college occupies a fairly small area of 0.7 ha, thus providing a co-educational learning environment for future educators. The institute has a total of 199 students and 16 faculties which makes a better ratio of students and their faculty members so that they can focus on the students and provide them better education.

Sardar Patel Teachers Training College has state of the art facilities that help in improving the college’s student learning facilities. This college, Sardar Patel Teachers Training College has a specific training course that focuses only on one curriculum, namely Bachelor of Education or B.Ed programme. This course of instruction is available full time and lasts for two years; the approved admission capacity for the course is one hundred students. Its purpose is to provide candidates with essential requirements for teaching in accordance with the philosophy of the College and the preparation of preschool education curriculum. Although at present the college awards only one degree it is specialised and can focus efforts in preparing effective educators.
