Sardar Vallabhbhai International School of Textile Management, Coimbatore was founded in 2002 and is a co-educational autonomous institute established by the Government of India's Ministry of Textiles. The institute is set across a 6-acre site. The SVPISTM provides six undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The SVPISTM courses include B.Sc, MBA, and P.G.D.M. The SVPISTM admissions are through the Common Entrance Test or equivalent qualified examination for both undergraduate and graduate programmes. The eligible candidates can apply for SVPISTM admissions for the desired course. The SVPISTM Coimbatore fees range from Rs 1.95 Lakhs- Rs 2.78 Lakhs.

The SVPISTM students are also eligible for scholarships and job placement. The institute has a separate placement cell that conducts placement activities for eligible students. PRAGATI Scholarship Scheme for Girl Students	Two girls child per family. The family income should be less than Rs. 8 lakhs per annum. Students must be admitted in first-year Diploma/Undergraduate Degree Level Programmes/Courses in AICTE approved Institutions.	An amount of Rs. 30,000 or the actual tuition fees paid, whichever is less. Contingency allowance of Rs 2000 per month for ten months.
Scheme of 'Merit cum Means Based Scholarship' For Students Belonging to The Minority Communities	The scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured more than 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination. The annual income of the family from all sources should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakhs per annum.	An amount of Rs. 20,000 per annum.
Scheme of 'Post Matric Scholarship' For Students Belonging to The Minority Communities	Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured more than 50% marks or equivalent grades in the previous final examination. The annual family income should not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs per annum. The students must be admitted for in the first year Diploma/Undergraduate Degree Level Programmes/Courses in AICTE approved Institutions.	The admission and tuition fee for UG & PG level is Rs. 3,000 per annum.
