General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year full-time diploma program offered by Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

  1. 10+2 with 40% marks from any recognized board. However, Science is preferable.
  2. Candidates are also eligible for State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government.
  3. The minimum and maximum age for admission will be 17 years as of 31st December and 35 years respectively For ANM, and LHV, there is no more bar.
  4. 17 years as of 31st December of that year. The upper age limit is 35 years. For ANM there is no age bar.
  5. 5% is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.
  6. Any other reservation as per the State Govt. under the reservation policy.
  7. Reservation shall be included in the seat sanction and not above it.
  8. The admission of students shall be once a year.
  9. Students shall be mentally fit.
