School of Architecture, established in 1994 under IPS Academy, Indore, is one of the most reputed architecture schools in the country. This affiliated college is situated in Rajendra Nagar-Indore, Madhya Pradesh so it has established its name in the field of Architect. Situated in a 2.5 acre area, the institute has a total number of students 546 and there are 33 faculties. The school provides equal learning opportunity and sex distribution 246 male students and 244 female students. 

Among the amenities which the institute boasts of is a provision of comprehensive range of amenities that facilitate learning among students. At present, the campus is endowed with functional computer units fitted with most recent software in support of the technological demands of the aspiring architects. A library with a unique architectural design caters for fiction, non-fiction, periodicals, magazines, journals and electronic and computerised database for students and faculty members. From the institute’s perspective and from the broad point of view of aims and objectives the various sections mentioned above are testimony to the institute’s commitment to the all-round development plan and the various sports opportunities are underlined by the fact that there are grounds for various types of games and indoor games facilities and equipment. In case of comfort in need, then School of Architecture has provided hostels for the male and female student with a comfortable and home like feeling. The campus has also established a modern technologically equipped hall for conferences and events, cafeteria for interpersonal contact, and has Wi-Fi throughout the campus.

At School of Architecture, IPS Academy, students can choose from two programmes. There are two professional programmes, a 5-year first professional Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and a 2-year second professional Master of Architecture (M.Arch). The B.Arch programme, which serves as the core capacity for the institute, has a sanctioned admission strength of 120 and the M.Arch programme is designed to admit twenty students. Both are full time campus base programmes, and are aimed at equipping students with intensive knowledge and skill n architecture. The institute pays prime importance towards quality education which has been earmarked in its total student enrolment of 546 across each of the courses offered thereby providing an individualised quality focused education to all the students enrolled.

The seats for the B.Arch programme in School of Architecture, IPS Academy, are filled through the Directorate of Technical Education MP. There are two eligibility examination that aspiring students need to take; they are National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or the architecture paper on Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main). The selection is merit based and pre-screening criteria have to be met as per the laid down standard. As for the Admission requirements to the M.Arch programme, particular information is lacking, although, an overall merit basis might be assumed. For B.Arch the institute accepts the scores of NATA and/or JEE Main and is in accordance to the norms of architecture studies all over the country.
