School of Computer Science & Information Technology, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, honouring the constituent college status was founded in 1986. Established in the 1980’s, this institution is offering computer science courses. It occupies a spacious land space of 4.59 acres, ideal for learning and discharging research activities. The institution being recognised by AICTE has various programmes which include 10 courses spread over 6 degree levels to cater to those who want the IT skills in specialisations of their choice.

School of Computer Science & Information Technology takes pride that they have constructed the most modern school facilities with learning in mind. A major resource in any college, the library provides more than sixteen thousand text and reference books. The library is even computerised with bar code books and give a link to the best quality on-line journals of ACM, IEEE, Elsevier. If affiliated to games and sports, the college provides amenities for chess, carrom, table tennis and badminton in addition to centralised facilities for other indoor and outdoor games. The IT facilities are equally as outstanding and make available 241 computers and 5 servers, consisting of two IBM dual-processor quad core servers to foster parallel research processing.
