Well I’m experiencing an amazing atmosphere here in UPES. Currently I’m studying in 2nd semester and the exposure this college gives is appreciable. The faculty, the quality of education delivered by them is very precious and up to the mark. The environment too contributes to the beauty of the education here. And the best thing about the college environment is that you won’t hear a single horn noise when you’re in campus. Not only education, but this college contributes to the co-curricular and overall development of the student by organising many conclaves, events and panel discussions. One can know the hidden aspects about himself/herself by participating in such events. Now coming to the things that the college is not that good at. First of all, the fests. 2 annual fest i.e. Uurja and Ignite are organised by the college which are not good and grand as compared to other colleges. The sports activities that should be encouraged is not that upto the mark like the basketball court is too crooked and the amount of participation among students is very low. Now at the end, I’d like to conclude that UPES is overall is a ‘good’ college but if someone is getting other good private engineering college, I’ll suggest them to take admission there.

The college life here is surely not how one thinks. The discipline is strict enough and proper uniforms are more important than any other thing. The infrastructure is nothing as compared to that of other colleges. After all, it's a private college. But other things like faculty interaction, placements and industrial exposure do compensate everything. In short it gives you everything in the beautiful doons
