60 MonthsThe Banking and Insolvency Law (Hons.) program at UPES School of Law offers students a comprehensive understanding of key topics related to banking and insolvency laws. Through this specialization, students will gain in-depth knowledge of various areas such as banking laws and practices, negotiable instruments laws including cheque bouncing, financial market regulation, regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering regulations, consumer protection laws, liability under Tort, debt recovery laws, insolvency and bankruptcy laws, laws on insurance, and international perspectives on banking and financial regulation.
The program is designed to enable students to critically examine and analyze these subjects, allowing them to develop a strong foundation in the field of banking and insolvency laws. Students will be exposed to theoretical concepts as well as practical aspects of the subject matter, preparing them for the real-world challenges they may encounter in the banking and financial industry.
The curriculum emphasizes the importance of staying updated with current developments in the field, ensuring that students are well-equipped to navigate the evolving landscape of banking and insolvency laws.
