Corporate Restructuring studies encompass legal aspects of mergers, acquisitions, takeovers, and reorganizations. Students learn about the legal frameworks governing these transactions, including due diligence, negotiation strategies, shareholder approvals, and relevant contractual and regulatory considerations. Securities Market Regulation focuses on the legal framework governing issuance, trading, and regulation of securities in both domestic and international markets. Students explore securities laws, disclosure requirements, insider trading, market manipulation, and enforcement mechanisms. International Trade and Investment Law analyzes the legal dimensions of cross-border transactions and dispute resolution. Students examine international trade agreements, investment treaties, and the role of global organizations in regulating international commerce. Competition Law delves into the legal framework governing competition and antitrust laws. Students learn about market competition regulation, anti-competitive practices prevention, and consumer welfare protection. Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law concentrates on the legal aspects of insolvency and bankruptcy proceedings, encompassing debtor, creditor, and stakeholder rights and obligations. Topics include bankruptcy procedures, debt restructuring, creditor rights, and the role of insolvency practitioners.
