Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Law is a three-year full-time doctorate-level course offered by VIT-AP University, Amaravati.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have obtained a Master’s degree in law from any recognized university or autonomous institution, securing not less than 55% marks are eligible to apply.

Admission Details

In order to obtain admission, candidates have to appear for VIT Research Admission Test. Later they have to attend the interview.

Applicants who have cleared UGC-NET (including JRF) are exempted from writing the entrance exam. However, they have to defend their research proposal in the interview.

Ph.D. admission will take place twice a year: January Cycle and June Cycle. Candidates who are passionate about academia and research they are encouraged to take admission.
