SCPM Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital was newly formed in the year 2017 and is situated in Gonda, Utter Pradesh. This assisted co-educational college is located on 25 acres with the teaching faculty of Ayurveda and aims to provide quality education in the degree of Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. It is affiliated with an institution and therefore, acts as a conduit through which the broader institution’s curriculum standards and quality are imposed. As of now, the institute has a total of 271 students and members of the faculty are 45, which allows 6 students per teacher, a perfect quantity for learning processes.

SCPM Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Gonda  is affiliated to the college Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad. SCPM Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital boasts of its fine infrastructure needed to enhance the learning processes of students studying to be Ayurvedic experts. The laboratories are provided with all necessary essentials as per the norms of CCIM and have all the necessary equipment by which the students can perform certain experiments related to their course. These are also functional for people requiring diagnostic services at a small cost. The college library has 5,632 books and 15 varieties of journals both on Ayurveda as well as the Allopathy system of treatment. The other facilities include a digital library which helps the students to get updates on many journals based on demand and computer services. 

SCPM Ayurvedic MC and Hospital offers a detailed undergraduate course called Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS). This programme has a full course duration of six years and is conducted full-time for a student intake of one hundred students per year and for each academic year. Therefore, students who want to get admission to the BAMS course,they should have done their 10+2 examination with a recognised university.
