The eligibility criteria for getting admission into the diploma program at SD Polytechnic mainly consist of passing the 10th standard or equivalent from a recognized board. Though other academic requirements may vary for different programs and should really be verified directly from the institute.

1. Obtaining the application form: Prospective students obtain the application form either from the website of the institute or get it personally from the campus.

4. Payment of application fee: There is probably going to be an application fee to be paid. The amount along with payment mode can be confirmed with the institute.

5. Entrance Exam (if applicable): Some diploma programs could demand that candidates take an entrance exam either conducted by the state technical education board or by the institute itself.

6. Preparation of Merit List: Based on the academic records and/or entrance exam scores, a merit list of eligible candidates is generally prepared.
