Nursing school, SH College of Nursing, was founded in 2013 in Cherthala, Alappuzha district of Kerala state. This affiliated college having INC approval to provide best nursing cuttings to the students for their better and prospective future. KCC is compact college set on a 4.69 acre campus and has the admitting class total of 160 students and is served by 18 full-time faculty. SH College of Nursing is an institution that admits both male and females and gives[Nursing College] boys and girls an opportunity to achieve their dreams of being professional nurses.

SH College of Nursing has many amenities that are meant to supplement the learning needs of the students attending it. A well equipped library is the knowledge centre of a hospital by providing the source of continued education with number of books and systematic use of audio-visual teaching aids. To support IT-requirements of a modern healthcare system, the college incorporates an IT-part in its educational system and processes. For the practical purpose, the university has equipped itself with sophisticated laboratories and the 350 bedded multi speciality Sacred Heart General Hospital, Greengardens and other hospitals. This is very essential in coming up with a body of knowledge that will provide sound basis for practice in nursing. SH College of Nursing currently offers one full-time course: the Bachelor of Science in Nursing. This is a four-year programme with an approved annual student intake of 50 students to ensure the college keeps a favorable student to faculty ratio for potential student interaction. The B.Sc Nursing course is planned in a way that imparts necessary theoretical background and clinical competencies that will help most of the students to build a career in the field of nursing.
