Shaheed Bhagat Singh Polytechnic and Pharmacy College, the affiliated college started in the year 1986 is located at Tarn Taran, Punjab. Located on a vast estate measuring 16 standard acres, the college is recognised by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The institute has total enrolment of 231 students and 34 faculties and has four courses covering three educational degree programmes mainly in the stream of pharmacy. This college has adequate learning settings with due attention given to both the theoretical and the practical aspect pharmaceutical sciences.

Shaheed Bhagat Singh Polytechnic and Pharmacy College possesses many-odd facilities aimed at the improvement of the learning process of the college. Modern well-stocked digital library centre fulfils all academic and research requirements and provides updated information and added value services to the School of Pharmacy in all its disciplines. For pharmacy shaheed Bhagat singh polytechnic and pharmacy college offers 4 courses. They are Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) and two Master of Pharmacy programmes (M.Pharma) in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacognosy. The overall approved student capacity for all the courses is one hundred and thirty-nine. 

The admission process of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Polytechnic and Pharmacy College differs from course to course and from seat category to another. Government seats for B.Pharma and D.Pharma are provided through counselling by PTU, Jalandhar and for Punjab State domicile through PSBTE & IT, Chandigarh. The management seats in these courses are fully Beckham by the institute directly. For the M.Pharma programme, the admission is as per the merit of the GPAT score. The college considers GPAT as the only entrance examination for the admissions of postgraduate students
