Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, or commonly known as SSCBS was established in 1987 by the Delhi Administration on the initiation of UGC and the Ministry of Human Resources, CBS. The college is affiliated to the University of Delhi. NAAC has accredited the institute with an ‘A+’ grade with a CGPA of 3.46. The college offers courses at the UG and PG level. A total of 4 full-time courses are offered here. Admissions to UG and PG courses at this college are offered on the basis of CUET and DUET, respectively. The institute gives admission to UG and PG courses. For UG course admission, candidates must apply and appear for CUET. On the other hand, SSCBS admission to PG courses is done based on the DUET score followed by a round of interview. As per Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies admission criteria, it is mandatory for students to apply at the University of Delhi admission portal. After the entrance exam, the university releases a list of cut-offs in multiple rounds. At the time of final admissions, candidates must carry the required documents for verification and pay the admission fee.

The placement drive of SSCBS is conducted by its placement cell. The placement cell of the college makes sure students are placed in the reputed companies of the country and the maximum number of companies participate in Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies placements. Every year companies like Deloitte, Genpact, Amazon, Dabur, and others participate in placement drives of the college. To prepare students, the placement cell conducts seminars, workshops and guest lectures by alumni and professional experts. In theory both mathematics and non-mathematics students can apply for Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, however, being a maths student will be much beneficial as the entrance exam required to get admission into this college is a mathematics oriented one and asks questions from topics like AP, GP etc which require a maths understanding.

the CUET exam is mostly based on what you study in +2. So it is not really important to start a parallel preparation or to join coaching solely for CUET exams. You can score well in CUET just by focusing on what you are studying at the moment while giving some extra attention to current affairs.
