Shantaram Potdukhe College of Law (SPCL), Chandrapur was established in the year 1974. The college was established by the Sarvodaya Shikshan Mandal, Chandrapur Society. SP College of Law is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the Bar Council of India (BCI). SPCL courses include undergraduate (LLB, BA LLB), postgraduate (LLM, MLS, MCL&IT, MHR&DE) and postgraduate diploma programmes in various areas. Previously the institute was affiliated to Nagpur University but now the SPCL is permanently affiliated to Gondwana University, Gadchiroli.
