Sheetalganj Pratap Mahavidyalaya is an educational institution established in 2014 at Gonda, Uttar Pradesh which was overseeing the betterment of education for students. This is a Co-educational college affiliated college recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Located on a relatively small area of 2.63 acres, the college for the time being has been hosting 906 total students. The college has a clear focus towards teacher education and therefore it has the facility of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Programme, which clearly shows its concern towards producing quality teachers of tomorrow. The college does provide a number of facilities to augment the learning environment and to all-round development of students. 

Sheetalganj Pratap Mahavidyalaya also plays an essential role as a resource of academic information to support learning activities. Besides lecture rooms, the college equally has functional laboratories to support practical exercises depending on the departments. Some of its facilities are; information technology that comprises of a computer Lab that enables the students to accord with the technological developments. There are Fully Equipped playing fields and a gym, which enhance strength and team spirit within the student population. The college also has an auditorium, inclusive of events, seminars, and cultural activities, which makes an active college student’s life. An institution with hostel facilities for students in need of Special Accommodation both for boys and girls, this is to enhance the comfort of students in case they are from home. Furthermore, there is a guest house or waiting bay for the visiting faculty and family members of the students making the college a highly hospitable institution. The college is affiliated to Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University, Faizabad.

As for education programmes, Sheetalganj Pratap Mahavidyalaya College at present offers only one regular course which is a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course. This programme consists of two years of study during which, students are provided with courses and practical experiences needed to become teachers. Therefore students who have passed their bachelor's degree or Master's degree in relevant subjects with a minimum of 45% marks, are eligible to pursue this course.

The manner in which Sheetalganj Pratap Mahavidyalaya offers admission for B.Ed is based on merit that has been signed by the State Government, U.T. Administration, and the University to which the college is affiliated.
