The Sheth M.C. College of Dairy Science, Anand, was established in the year 1960. The college acts as a platform in order to pursue higher education in dairy education with 12 diversified courses from 5-degree programs in the area that covers most of the dimensions of dairy science and technology. Currently, 313 students are on roll in the college, which is served by 30 strong faculties. The college provides for many facilities in the college for making the campus life comfortable and the lead to the academic pursuits of the institution easier.

The Munshi hostel caters for 120 males and 30 females at the undergraduate level, while postgraduate level arrangements are shared at the campus with the agricultural college. The program of undergraduation lies based on B.Tech and B.Sc. in Dairy Technology, while the postgraduation comprises of specialisations in M.Tech in Dairy Technology and Dairy Engineering as well as in M.Sc. in Dairy Microbiology and Dairy Chemistry. Research studies leading to Ph.D. are also available in Dairy Technology, Dairy Engineering, Dairy Microbiology, and Dairy Chemistry. In recent years, the institution offers an MBA course in Dairy and Food Business Management given the high demand for professional managers in this field.
