Shivalik College of Pharmacy, Nangal is one of the well-known institutions promoted in the year of 1983 to fulfill the need of pharma colleges in Punjab, India. The institution has various pharmacy programs for courses, both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in a student population of 236 students and faculty of 12. Affiliated to the Pharmacy Council of India PCI, Shivalik College of Pharmacy has excelled in the field of Pharmacy with Two degree programs in three different courses.

The college has set up diverse well-equipped facilities intending to complement the learning environment as well as the general personality of the students. Rich facility like library is central to the learning activities as is the enabling infrastructure such as well-equipped laboratories for practicals in different fields of pharmaceutical sciences. The institution also aims at nurturing physical well being through provision of a gym, play grounds among other facilities. For out-station students, there are two hostel facilities for both boys and girls as a part of the School’s educational facilities. There is a well equipped auditorium for event and seminars in the campus to support the academic life on campus.

SCOP has a total of three programs in its offering, and all are confined to the fulltime program. These include one undergraduate course namely B.Pharma and two postgraduate courses namely M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics and M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. The first professional degree, recognised as B.Pharma, on which the whole setup of pharmaceutical education at the institute is built has an approved admission capacity of 60 students.
