Shree Guru Gobind Singh Ji Government Degree College, Sirmour, clearing the vision of its foundation, was established in 1994 and is located in Paonta Sahib, Himachal Pradesh. This affiliated college which has a campus size of 8.3 acres has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The college has 2,630 students and a faculty of 36; the college provides 10 courses in seven degree programmes. This institution boasts of having quality education in different fields of discipline such as arts, sciences, commerce and computer applications.

Shree Guru Gobind Singh Ji Government Degree College has put in place many facilities to complement learning so as to make the college experience a productive one. The Shree Guru Gobind Singh Ji Government Degree College provides the complete education package comprising undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The investment offers 10 courses, in place full time and part time. The undergraduate courses available are BA, B.Sc, B.Com, and BCA but this doesn’t mean that universities don’t offer other courses. For the college enthusiasts, the college teaches M.A. in English, Hindi, Political Science and Economics and teaches M.Com The college also offers a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) in communication technology improvement. The college has an intake capacity of 2,630 students all together for all of the programmes.
