Shree Hanumat Institute of Management and Technology (SHIMT) was founded in 2018 and therefore, is still a developing college situated in Jalandhar, Punjab. Located in G.T Road, Goraya on the National Highway-1 BHU-Goraya, it is dedicated towards providing a plethora of undergraduate courses. Being an affiliated college, SHIMT is focused to offering quality education in some of the relevant sectors such as Management, Technology, Commerce and health care. The institute has the total student enrolment of 130 students under its credibility which shows its expanding demand in the region. It will also provide the right ambiance for students of both sexes from the coeducational nature of SHIMT.

The institute has new generation teaching learning infrastructure facilities inclusive of computer lab, library, classrooms, cafeteria, hostel, medical and transport facilities. The basic requirement of any academic institution is the availability of literature and as part of learning resources, The college has a seminar room that has comfortable accommodation to contain a large number of student plus and well-equipped communication facilities to conduct lectures, conferences and other activities for students, which affords the opportunity for students to engage the practitioners in the field and get a wider view. The institute has made available both girls and boys hostel facilities to accommodate students from the different parts of the country in a comfortable manner. SHIMT also pays much attention to the health of their students; they are able to have a sick room that offer first aid during college hours.

Of the total of six undergraduate courses that SHIMT provides, all are full-time courses. These are B.Com Hons, BCA, BBA, B.Sc Fashion Design, Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, and B.Sc Medical Laboratory Science. Every course has an approved capacity of 60 students, with 360 total coverage for all programmes. As a result, these diverse degrees cut across various fields of endeavor such as business and technology, hospitality, and healthcare. This approach is further evident from offering courses that teach what it is like to work in the corporate world in today’s world.
