Shree Manibhai Virani and Smt. Navalben Virani Science College is a premier institution which was established in the year 1968 by the Virani Education Trust. The admissions to the courses offered by the college are approved by UGC and accredited with an A grade by NAAC.

Shree Manibhai Virani and Smt Navalben Virani Science College courses are offered in full time mode, where the undergraduate programmes includes courses like BSc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Information Technology, Industrial Chemistry, Applied Microbiology and BVoc in Applied Computer Technology, Medical Laboratory & Molecular Diagnostic Technology, Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality Assurance, Chemical Technology and BCA courses. The Postgraduate courses includes  MSc in Information Technology & Computer Applications, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Industrial Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and and Integrated BSc - MSc course in Chemistry, Microbiology, and Mathematics

Since the college is affiliated with Saurashtra University, Rajkot, thus the admissions to all programmes are based on merit, which is further determined by marks scored in 10+2 examination for UG and bachelor’s degree for PG courses. 

Shree Manibhai Virani and Smt Navalben Virani Science College has a dedicated  placements cell that looks after all the placements activities. As per NIRF 2025 data 14 students were placed with the help of the Shree M. V. & Smt. N. V. Virani Science College placement cell at a median salary of Rs 2,40,000. Apart from this, 127 students opted for higher studies in the year 2023–24. 

Apart from this, the college also offers facilities like air-conditioned classrooms, laboratories, a library, seminar halls, an auditorium, a sports complex, cafeteria, and on campus medical services.
