Founded in the year 2009, Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji College of Engineering, Ahmednagar, is one of the premier technical institutions in the state of Maharashtra. This affiliated college, spread over 43 acres of campus, offers various programmes in engineering to aspiring technologists. The total enrolment of students is 118, with faculty strength of 9 for giving focused education. The college offers four B.E. programmes that aim at building students with the most contemporary skills in their respective areas. 

The facilities at Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji College of Engineering are adequate to help in giving comprehensive education. The laboratories are well-equipped to allow hands-on experience in the different disciplines of Engineering. Th library acts as the knowledge hub having all kinds of materials which can assist in attaining academic pursuits. As far as accommodation is concerned, there are separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, and quite near to the campus. The boys' hostel stands about 500 meters from the campus, while the girls' hostel is approximately 200 meters away from the main campus. It also lays great emphasis on the well-being of its students, where a health centre is made available with first-aid facilities. It inculcates a healthy and balanced lifestyle by providing the sports facilities and a gym for physical fitness. There is an auditorium for various events and seminars that helps to generate a good academic atmosphere in the campus.

Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji College of Engineering offers four full-time BE programmes in total. It offers BE in Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering. All programmes are designed as four-year courses which are totally full-time with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in the chosen field of study.

The admission process to Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji College of Engineering is designed to identify capable and motivated students. The institute accepts scores from two major entrance examinations, namely JEE Main and MHT CET. These entrance examinations are quite renowned in themselves and help in creating a diversified application pool. Being conducted at the national level, JEE Main allows any student from across the country to get admission, while MHT CET is conducted at the state level of Maharashtra, giving local students one more avenue for admission.
