Shri Gopichand College of Pharmacy, Baghpat, was established in 1999 as one of the premier institutions for pharmaceutical education in Uttar Pradesh. It is an affiliated college, that sprawls on an area of 5.2 acres. The institute has pharmacy programmes approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. In its total working years as a college, it admitted 90 students while it had 16 faculty members. 

This college has many facilities that enhance the education of its students. There is an equipped library that functions as a source of information, offering thousands of textbooks, journals, and various digital items. The reading room has computer terminals and internet facilities for online research and searching of the catalogue. State-of-the-art laboratories help students to have hands-on experience, an essential for pharmacy education. Various hostels have been provided on the campus along with proper sanitation and hygiene on either side for boys and girls to ensure peaceful and comfortable stay of the outstation students. A cafeteria has been provided for the dietary needs of the college community. 

Shri Gopichand College of Pharmacy offers all together three full-time courses in the pharmacy sector. Two undergraduate courses and one postgraduate course are being taught here. The B.Pharma course and the D.Pharma course also has the same intake capacity of 60 students. Apart from these courses, the college also offers M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

The college is very transparent in their admission procedure. The college accepts UPCET scores for admission in B.Pharma. This is a vital entrance level provided at state level for pharmacy colleges in Uttar Pradesh.
