Shri Guru Govind Singh College of Education, situated at Moradabad, was established in the year 2012, and today it has become a torchbearer of education in Uttar Pradesh. This is an institute for boys and girls, which is situated in the village of Bhawalpur Bansali and is aimed at preparing future educators. Being an affiliated college, it functions under NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) guidelines, thus maintaining a good standard of training teachers. The college has two teaching specialisation programmes in education to narrow the student enrolment range and to equip the region with competent teaching professionals.

Shri Guru Govind Singh College of Education has two courses, each of two years duration, but one had some annual intakes. B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. are undergrad courses that offer professional preparation for the creation of competent and passionate teachers. Each of the two programmes has an approved intake capacity of one hundred students, thus 200 in the two courses combined. These courses are very elaborate to offer both theoretical knowledge and skills to survive in today’s education system.
