Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Sikar, is a women’s college that came into existence in 2000 in Jaipur, Rajasthan. A college has 8 programmes with the programmes ranging from undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The cumulative approved intake of all courses is 782 seats. In this university, the most popular undergrad course is the Bachelor of Arts (BA) course, which has 360 seats. The college also holds specialised science streams, namely B.Sc. Mathematics Group and B.Sc. Bio Group, with a seat capacity of sixty each. There is a B.Com. programme for those interested in commerce, with 60 seats in the programme. MA courses are offered in Hindi, geography, Sanskrit, and political science at the postgraduate level, with a strength of forty students in each section.
