Sri Sathya Sai College of Homoeopathic Medical Science, Dharwad, Karnataka, is a recognised institution to teach the homoeopathy course. This affiliated college was set up in 1992, so for more than thirty years it has been preparing the future homoeopaths. The college is also recognised by the Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH), thus covering all the oversees the standards set by the national level institutions for Homoeopathy colleges. Sri Sathya Sai College of Homoeopathic Medical Science offers a single full-time course, the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery in abbreviated form known as BHMS. This course takes six years which students acquire firm knowledge and skills in homoeopathic medicine. The college itself has an intake capacity of 50 seats for this course, but the college accepts only 50 students for this course to provide personal attention to each student and, in turn, provide quality education.
