Shri Shivaji Junior College of Education, Amravati, was set up in I958 as a committed institution for teacher education. MGM’S Valsadi School and Junior College for boys and girls, Amravati- Established in the year 1974 lies near Panchwati Square in the city of Amravati in the central Indian state of Maharashtra occupies merely 1.37 acres of land. It is affiliated to the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) which sets the standard on the college’s offerings. Designed to produce teachers, the institute is hosting 68 students, and has a staff of 3 professors thus keeping the ratio of student to teacher very inimical.
