Shri Venkteshwar Institute of Technology (SVIT) was established in the year 2006 and is a popular institute in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Located on the Indore-Ujaing highway, this affiliated college provides numerous branches of engineering and management streams. SVIT is set on the path to delivery of quality technical education and as a result it has received recognition from customer. This institute provides 7 courses under two degree programmes to meet the requirements of different specialisation in both engineering and management. Taking into consideration, the goal of SVIT, the college aims to produce a skilled professional fit for the industry.

SVIT has various developed amenities to enhance its academic activities. The institute has an in-house library, and students are availed a variety of learning facilities for their use . Modernisation of the standard laboratories allows anticipating the real world practices to be adopted throughout the departments. There is a large hall for conferences and seminars which helps the campus to be active academically. In order to make sure that the students have a place to stay, SVIT has two different hostels for boys and girls respectively in order to improve accommodation convenience. The institute also has facilities of cafeterias, sport complex and internet facility throughout the campus to provide a standard education system. The institute conducts a total of 7 programmes out of which 6 degrees are full time Bachelor of Engineering, completed through BE degree & 1 full time Master of Business Administration completed through MBA degree. The BE programmes traverse across different engineering domains, and the MBA programme targets management employees. The quota for all these courses has been approved at 600 would mean that the capacity for each course could be between 60-120. The range of programmes offer opportunities for student to choose majors that suite their preferred areas of interest and job market expectations. The courses are BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Civil, Mechanical Engineering, and so on. 

SVIT has an admission policy that friendly and transparent ensuring the deserving candidate ranks get the opportunity to enroll in their preferred programmes. For engineering courses the admission procedures are mostly based on centralised entrance test known as Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Like every other competitive examination at the national level, this one evaluates procedural abilities and theoretical content knowledge of pre-engineering qualification candidates and helps open doors to the best engineering colleges in India. For MBA Programme, SVIT accepts the score of the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
