24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE) and offered by Karnataka University, Dharwad.
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- Candidate must secure 50% of marks in aggregate of B.A./B.Sc./B.Com/Etc degree examination SC/St/Cat-1 & P.H. candidates with 45% in total are eligible.
- The candidates must have studied any of the languages and two electives at B.A. or B.Sc. B.Com. etc
- Languages: English, Kannada, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu& Sanskrit.
- Electives: Arts, History, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, English, Kannada & Hindi
- Science: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology.
- Karnataka students: The candidates who have studied for at least 7 full academic years in any recognized institution in Karnataka from 1st Std to X or qualifying examinations in Karnataka are eligible.
Admission Details
Admission shall be on merit basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the State Government/UT administration policy and the University.
