Candidates at Sikkim Manipal College of Nursing Gangtok are offered admissions at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. • Admission in B. Sc Nursing should apply online: www. smcon.smu.edu.in or www.smu.edu.in 

• Upload the required documents. 

• Online provisional admission will be based on the eligibility criteria and the inter-se merit of the entrance examination conducted by SMCON, SMU.

• Admission will be confirmed after successful verification of the original documents. 

• During physical verification, presence of the candidate with the parent is a must. 

SMCON Gangtok admissions to the M.Sc course under various specialisations like Medical Surgical Nursing, Obstetric & Gynaecological Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing only after the candidates meet the selection criteria.

SMCON Gangtok M.Sc Admission Process 2025

• SMCON Gangtok admission will be based on the inter-se merit of the candidates on the basis of percentage of aggregate marks secured in B. Sc Nursing/ P.B.B.Sc Nursing and the eligibility criteria. 

• During counseling, eligible candidates will be allotted specialization of nursing according to their rank and number of seats available. 

• The choice of specialisation made by the candidate during counseling will be final and cannot be altered later. 

• Admission will be confirmed after successful verification of the original documents.

• The physical presence of candidates at the time of counseling/admission is mandatory.

Documents required for SMCON Gangtok Admissions

• Mark cards from 1st to Final year of B. Sc Nursing / B. Sc Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B. Sc Nursing 

• All Mark cards of GNM in case of P.B.B.Sc Nursing 

• Certificate of Registration as Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife or equivalent

• Degree Certificate of B. Sc Nursing / B. Sc Hons. Nursing/Post Basic B. Sc Nursing 

• Experience certificate issued by competent authority NOC of employer to be obtained

• Mark sheet of class X & XII 

• Proof of age/date of birth (10th standard certificate/birth certificate)

• Migration certificate 

• Six copies of recent passport size photograph 

• SC/ST/OBC certificate for claiming relaxation of 5% marks in eligibility

• Domicile / PRC Certificate (for North East category) 

• Aadhar Card (candidate) and PAN card (of the payee)

• Medical fitness certificate 

• Foreign students in addition to above require to submit 

• No objection certificate from the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India and Ministry of Health &Family Welfare, Govt. of India. 

• Letter of equivalency of the degree by Indian Nursing Council
