Sinhgad Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Lonavala, is a premier pharmaceutical education institute of Sinhgad Technical Education Society. The college is affiliated with UNIPUNE (Pune University). This affiliated college was established in the year 2004. The affiliated college has an area of 3 acres and is located in Lonavala, Maharashtra. Further, the institution is NAAC accredited. SIPS is approved by PCI; hence, the institution lays great emphasis on quality pharmaceutical education. The institution offers 3 courses in 3 degrees with a specialisation in Pharmaceutical Sciences. With an overall enrolment of 244students and a faculty of 16, SIPS has maintained a balanced student body of 60% males and 40% females so as to provide a balanced learning environment.

The institution has a host of modern facilities for pursuing such multi-faceted academic activities. The courses in the field of pharmacy offered by SIPS range from undergraduate B.Pharma to M.Pharma in Pharmaceutics and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. All programmes are full-time with variable course durations ranging from 2 to 6 years. 

The admission procedure at SIPS is basically based on the performance in entrance examinations. The admissions to the B. Pharma course happen through the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) and NEET.
