    Master of Education (M.Ed) is a two-year full-time postgraduate course offered by Manipur University, Imphal, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).


    Eligibility Criteria

    • The candidate must have completed a B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education), B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed., B.El.Ed., or D.El.Ed. with an undergraduate degree (with 50% marks in each).
    • Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks (or equivalent grade) in the qualifying examination (B.Ed or equivalent). Relaxation of up to 5% in marks may be given to SC/ST/OBC/PwD and other reserved categories as per state/central government norms.  

    Admission Details

    Admission shall be made on merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination, in the entrance examination, or any other selection process as per the policy of the state government/Government/University/UT Administration.
