72 MonthsPh.D. program in Hindi shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned and approved by the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master's Degree (M.Sc.) in Botany or relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% in case of reserved category)
- Must have passed the Ph.D. entrance test (PET)
- Must satisfy the conditions as mentioned in the Vice-Chancellors Directive, Exam/Thesis/ Univ./VCD/2414 of 2010.
