Smt. Sharadchandrika Suresh Patil Institute of Technology D Pharmacy, Chopda, established in 1982, is a standalone institute located in Chopda, Maharashtra. The institute, approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), offers two pharmacy programmes: B.Pharma and D.Pharma. Located in 33-acre of land, the institute is having its total student enrollment of 116 and faculty of 5. The institute aims at offering quality pharmaceutical education for its learners; it has adequate amenities for furthering students’ achievements.

Smt. Sharadchandrika Suresh Patil Institute of Technology D Pharmacy has various amenities to complement to learning process and general development of learners. The campus has installed functional laboratories that offer practical session in different areas of pharmacy. A large library is a source of information providing a vast choice of literature and other resources. To ensure that people acquire physical fitness and recreation the institute offers sports facilities and a gym. It also provides the campus with an event and seminar auditorium to maintain a busy academic atmosphere. IT infrastructure helps students to have relevant technologies for their study needs. There is a medical facility that addresses students’ issues with first aid services provided in the medical facility at the institute. School has a cafeteria with staff and students allowed to take meals according to set special diets. The institute offers hostel facilities for outstation students separately for boys and girls to make their stay comfortable during their duration in the Institute.

Smt. Sharadchandrika Suresh Patil Institute of Technology – D Pharmacy The institute offers two  courses in the field of pharmacy. The B.Pharma programme with an approval for intake of one hundred students and having a total duration of four years and the D.Pharma programme has an approval for intake of sixty students and the duration of the programme is two years. Both the programmes are intended to deliver a course content that offers an understanding of the scientific facts and functional competencies required to operate in the pharmaceutical industry. Together the two programs have 160 students which provide limited class size and individual attention to every learner according to the objective of the institute.

Smt. Sharadchandrika Suresh Patil Institute of Technology D Pharmacy follows the merit system for the admission procedure. D.Pharma is based on the admission through the notification and counseling that is done from the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). In other words, the category-wise seats are provided to the students as per their merit list of category which maintains the transparency of the college.
