SMVVS Rajeshwari Karpurmath Memorial Ayurvedic Medical College in Bijapur, Karnataka is one of its kinds trust offers well recognised ayurveda medical college in Bijapur. Located at Solapur Road this affiliated college has been paying a lot in terms of inputs to the system of traditional Indian medicine. The college is affiliated to the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) to facilitate a quality education on Ayurveda. The institute has 41 experienced faculty members who, currently offer several programmes in the field of Ayurvedic medicine for both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Till date SMVVS Rajeshwari Karpurmath Memorial Ayurvedic Medical College conducts only five courses in which there is one Under Graduate course and the remaining four PG specialities. All courses are of full time study, and offered intensive exposure to the principles of Ayurveda as a system of medicine. There are 4 programmes currently recognised by the University: the flagship programme is the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) with an approved student enrolment of 60 students.  For those looking to specialise further, the college offers four postgraduate courses: Right now, we have 15 more intakes with 3 students each for MS Prasuti and Stri Roga, MS Shalakya Tantra, MD Swasthavritta, MD Samhita and Siddhanta. These differentiated programmes help students to try out different fields of Ayurveda and then get deep into the field of their choice.
